NAI DESCO’s Bill Barnes Represents Client in New Central West End Potbelly Location

ST. LOUIS, MO (September 8, 2026) – Potbelly Sandwich Shop is now open at 2 N. Euclid Avenue, at the intersection of North Euclid and Laclede avenues in St. Louis’ Central West End.

Bill Barnes of NAI DESCO represented the client in securing the approximately 3,200-square-foot restaurant space, formerly occupied by Einstein Bros. Bagels. The new restaurant is Potbelly’s first location within the city of St. Louis and the fourth in the greater St. Louis area, joining existing locations in Clayton, Creve Coeur and St. Charles.

“We’re pleased to have helped our client secure a strong location in one of St. Louis’ most active neighborhoods,” Barnes said. “The Central West End’s mix of residents, employees, students and visitors makes it an excellent fit for the Potbelly brand.”

The Central West End opening is also the first location to open under a broader franchise agreement signed in 2025 to add seven Potbelly shops throughout the St. Louis region, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The new restaurant brings the Chicago-based sandwich brand to a highly visible and walkable location near major employers, medical institutions, universities and residential neighborhoods.
